Blogmas Day 2: December Goals

Blogmas Day 2: December Goals

I probably should’ve posted this yesterday but I was so excited about my holiday decorations.  It’s the lights and the Christmas Trees that really get me in the holiday spirit; that and Chestnut Praline Lattes.  This month I have a list of things I really want to do this month and/or accomplish.  A holiday “bucket list” if you will.  I hope you enjoy and Happy Holidays!

1.  Attend a Christmas Craft Show

I usually miss out on these because weekends in December are usually filled with other things but this year I want to make it a priority.  Especially since I opened my sticker shop (RoseoftheCityPrints) on Etsy.  I love to see all the holiday goodies other crafters make and purchase a few as gifts!

2.  Bake Cookies as Gifts

Every year I love to make cookies for friends and family.  This year, I plan to make them extra special by serving them on a holiday platter they can keep for years to come like this one I ordered from Amazon.

3.  Play in the Snow

We don’t get a ton of snow here but we’re close enough to the mountains to be able to see it pretty easily.  I REALLY want to grab a thermos of hot cocoa, a cooler of sandwiches and head up to the mountains to play in the snow.

4.  Read 3 Books

This is the perfect time of year for reading!  Curling up under a warm blanket with a cup of hot tea or cocoa and reading something festive!  One of my favorite books is Charles Dickens’ Classic, “A Christmas Carol”.  It’s a little scary but VERY Christmas!

5.  Hunt Down Christmas Lights

For the last few years we’ve missed out on seeing Christmas lights.  Again, we get life get the best of us and the holidays were over before we realized it.  This year, I’m working on a plan to see the best Christmas lights in and around the Charlotte area!
