Blogmas Fail and Blog Reboot!

Happy New Year!  It’s been a minute since I posted here on my blog.  I know, I know…SOME of you – maybe one of you (Mom) – have been wondering why I haven’t posted since Blogmas Day 6.  Well, it’s time to dig deep and be completely honest.  The fact is, I truly became overwhelmed.  I can admit that I may have over-extended myself.  I work a full time job, I run an Etsy shop designing and producing planner stickers, and I was trying to run this blog.  I quickly learned that there just aren’t enough hours in a day.

Fresh Start

So I want to start the new year fresh.  I’m making reasonable goals for myself considering my schedule AND I’m revamping my blog to focus on the things that I am truly passionate about.  To start, I will be posting once a week versus three times a week.  For now, that’s more realistic and will allow me to put more love into each post.  Additionally, I’ll be narrowing my focus and eliminating some of the numerous topic categories my blog currently has.  For example, after reviewing my past posts, I realized my most used category was “cooking/baking”, so I’ll be spending more time sharing my culinary adventures.   I also want to write about my newfound love of planning, drawing and creating planner stickers.  And while I’m not going to sit here and say that I’ll never post about a beauty product again, I feel like I’ve been a bit scattered.

Thank You…and Welcome

I just want to say “thank you” to those of you who have stuck with me as this blog has experienced growing pains.  I love to blog because I feel like it’s a journal of sorts that began to turn into “work” and stopped being fun.  I’m taking it back to “fun” and I hope you’ll continue to stick with me.  Finally, welcome to all my new followers and readers!  Please check the Contact me Page for all my contact information and make sure to follow me on social media.

I wish you all a healthy and prosperous new year!
